Built from curiosity,
not assumptions.

The Blue Box began with a simple belief: before introducing another system, we should understand the people, the process and the problem it is meant to solve.

I’m Felix Evelyn. I built The Blue Box from a combination of personal experience and my work as an ICT Business Analyst and Systems Analyst.

Why I built The Blue Box

I know what it feels like when doing the actual work is not the hardest part. Administration keeps growing, information lives in too many places, and even small decisions keep coming back to you.

I’ve experienced that frustration too.

Through my work, I learned that the answer is rarely to add another tool straight away. Often, the first step is to slow down, understand what is really happening and make one part of the work clearer.

The Blue Box is where I share the questions, methods and practical tools that have helped me turn messy problems into something easier to understand and improve.

Technology can help, but adding technology to an unclear workflow can make the confusion faster.

How I approach problems

I start by listening to what people are experiencing, looking for the pattern behind it and asking better questions. From there, I map the work, test something small and improve it based on what actually happens.

Observe → Understand → Ask better questions → Map → Prototype → Test → Improve → Repeat.

Free to explore, with room to grow

The Business Check, your results and tool previews are free to use. If you choose to create a PDF, we’ll only ask for your email so we can send your saved version to you.

You can also choose to stay in touch for occasional new tools, practical ideas and relevant guidance. As The Blue Box grows, there may be optional ways to receive more hands-on support, including implementation services. These will always be introduced clearly and separately, with no obligation to continue.

Support The Blue Box

The Blue Box is an independent FelixSandbox project built to turn real small-business challenges into practical checks, tools and resources that remain free to explore.

If The Blue Box has helped you understand a problem more clearly or saved you some time, you can support its continued development. Every contribution gives me more time to test ideas, improve the tools and create new resources that small-business owners can genuinely use.
